In a historic celebration, the youth of Osun State came together to mark the World Creativity and Innovation Day for the first time.

The event which was organized by the National youth council of Nigerian (NYCN), Nigerian youth congress (NYC) and the ministry of youth affairs was graced by distinguished personalities including the Deputy Speaker, the Wife of the Governor, the Commissioner of Youth Affairs, and other esteemed guests.

The vibrant gathering, held in Osogbo, showcased the immense talent, creativity, and innovative spirit of Osun’s youth. From dynamic presentations to interactive workshops, the event was a testament to the passion and dedication of the youth towards fostering creativity and innovation in the state.

The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon ( prince) Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi, in his address, commended the youth for their initiative in organizing such a significant event and emphasized the importance of creativity and innovation in driving progress and development.

Erelu Ngozi Adeleke,the esteemed Wife of the Governor, expressed her delight in witnessing the enthusiasm and innovative ideas presented by the youth. She encouraged them to continue exploring new horizons and contributing positively to the growth of Osun State.

The Commissioner of Youth Affairs, alongside other dignitaries, lauded the efforts of the organizers and pledged continued support for youth-led initiatives that promote creativity and innovation in the state.
