Osun NDLEA Arrests Ex-convict With Cocaine, Tramadol, Others

In another breakthrough, the Osun State command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a 51-year-old Ex-convict, Suleiman Usman with various illicit drugs in the state.

Usman was arrested with 28.5kg of cannabis Sativa, 4.4gms of cocaine, 20 tabs of rophynol weighing 6.2gms and 812 caps of tramadol weighing 300gms at Okinni area of Osogbo, on Wednesday by a team of operatives led by CSN Samuel Okunola.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Charles Odigie in a statement made available to BEYOND AFRICA said: “On Wednesday 1st May 2024, a team of Operatives led by CSN Okunola Samuel carried out a raid operation in Okinni area of Osogbo where one Suleiman Usman 51 years was arrested.

“Usman was apprehended with 28.5kg of cannabis sativa, 4.4gms of cocaine, 20 tabs of rophynol weighing 6.2gms and 812 caps of tramadol weighing 300gms.

“The suspect is an unrepentant as he is an ex-convict and currently has another case before the Federal High Court Osogbo before this arrest”.

Meanwhile, the state commander CN Nnadi W Chidi, commended the efforts of his officers and warned drug dealers/couriers to relocate from osun state or get arrested prosecuted.
