…… Says LG Development Has Remained Stagnant For Long

Abeokuta North Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Akeem Oluseye has disclosed the first important thing on his agenda.

Oluseye, popularly known as HAO, disclosed that the first thing on his agenda is to develop a blueprint for Abeokuta North. According to him, this is crucial to the development of the grassroot, saying it would serve as a guide and template for successive administrations in the local government.

According to him, development has remained stagnant in the local government for so long due to non-availability of a strong foundation.

The chairmanship aspirant stressed that, his administration is coming onboard to revive the lost glory of Abeokuta through developmental initiatives.

He said : “The first thing on our agenda is to develop a blueprint for Abeokuta North Local Government. This is very crucial because you cannot make any impact or develop your domain as a public administrator without having a blueprint. This will serve as a guide and template for your activities. If you actively follow Lagos State, you will see there is an existing blueprint which all Governors after President Bola Tinubu operate on.

“That has actually put the state ahead of others in the federation. The blueprint will also serve as a guide for our successors; this will transform the LG and put her ahead of others in Ogun State and Nigeria.

“The blueprint will cover health, education, environment, agriculture, transportation, and security among others. We have assembled a host of seasoned professionals across all the relevant fields to work towards designing the aforementioned blueprint. I can tell you categorically that work is ongoing already to perfect the demised document.

“Professionals have gone to the field and carried out feasibility studies of all the areas, towns, villages and townships in the LGA.

“Local governments across the country have remained stagnant for a long time due to lack of a solid foundation. We are coming to revive the lost glory of Abeokuta North.”

Oluseye said he is not going to learn on the job or wait for direction when elected as he is fully prepared and will hit the ground running.
