In a spirited celebration of Ogun State’s 50th anniversary, the 2027 Ogun Central Senatorial Hopeful, Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola (EOS), has hailed Governor Dapo Abiodun’s giant strides in rebuilding and repositioning the economy of the state.
Dr. Soyoola reflected on the state’s journey since its creation from the old Western State in February 3, 1976.
He lauded the “Gateway State” for its historical role as a beacon of excellence in politics, education, commerce, and culture.
The medical doctor noted that Governor Abiodun’s leadership coincides with this historic milestone.
Dr. Soyoola hailed the Governor in the area of infrastructure, noting that he has constructed more roads than any Governor in the history of the state.
The senatorial aspirant also commended Abiodun on the ongoing oil exploration activities in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area.
The discovery followed reports of crude-like substances seeping from the ground, which prompted technical investigations by the NNPCL.
