A dramatic scene unfolded in Jos after a young man suspected of defrauding a Point of Sale (POS) operator was arrested while reportedly enjoying himself at a nightclub.
According to reports, the suspect is accused of scamming a POS operator of about ₦1.5 million before going into hiding.
The suspect was eventually traced to a popular lounge in the Rayfield area of Jos, where he was allegedly seen spending money freely.
Sources claim he had checked into the club with three women, appearing relaxed and unbothered despite the allegations hanging over him.
Eyewitnesses say his behavior and sudden appearance raised suspicion among people at the venue, which led to him being identified.
Security operatives were alerted, and the situation quickly escalated, leading to his arrest right inside the lounge. The unexpected moment reportedly shocked other guests, turning what was meant to be a night of fun into a tense scene.
