A leading aspirant for the House of Representatives in Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Hon. Rasheed Kashamu, has successfully submitted his completed Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, alongside all required supporting documents, at the designated submission centre in Abuja.
The submission, which took place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, marks a significant step in Kashamu’s bid to secure the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections. Documents presented by the aspirant included verified evidence of payment, academic credentials and proof of party membership dues covering four years for 120 members, in line with party requirements.
Speaking shortly after the submission, Kashamu expressed gratitude to his supporters and party leaders, noting that the successful completion of the process reflects both his preparedness and commitment to due process. He reaffirmed his resolve to offer purposeful representation and to advance the collective interests of the constituency if given the mandate.
Party officials at the centre acknowledged receipt of the documents, describing the process as smooth and in accordance with stipulated guidelines.
