
The All Progressives Congress excos in Ward 09 and leaders of the party in Abeokuta North Local Government Area, Ogun State have endorsed Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola as their Senatorial candidate in Ogun Central ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made during Dr. Soyoola’s visit to Ward 09 executives as part of his ongoing grassroots consultation and mobilization ahead of the party’s primaries.
The Ward chairman, Hon. Abiodun Akintunde in his address, welcomed Dr. Soyoola and commended him for consistently engaging with grassroots stakeholders and not neglecting the ward.
Dr. Soyoola’s visit highlights his continued efforts to strengthen party unity and consolidate grassroots support ahead of the next electoral cycle.
In his remarks, Dr. Soyoola solicited the full support of the party executives and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering effective and inclusive representation for Ward 09, Abeokuta North LGA, and Ogun Central Senatorial District at large.
Mrs. Osoba praised him for his recent women empowerment program across Ogun Central. She urged him to do more for women and assured him of women’s support.
Mr. Remi Robot encouraged him to continue his consultation. He said Dr. Soyoola is on the right track.
Alhaji Oke noted that since the inception of the APC-led government, Ward 09 has not produced an elected official. He expressed confidence that Dr. Soyoola will effectively represent Ward 09, Abeokuta North LGA, and Ogun Central Senatorial District.
Hon. Wale Bello, Governor’s Liaison Officer for Abeokuta North declared support for Dr. Soyoola’s senatorial ambition.
He described Dr. Soyoola as “capable, agile, and the best candidate to represent us in Ogun Central Senatorial District.”
He further stated, “I supported him because he is from my ward, Ward 09, Abeokuta North LGA. He is capable and has the strength to represent Ogun Central.”
Also, Alhaji Akeem Sobayo Adesina, former Abeokuta North Party Chairman, saluted Dr. Soyoola for his courage and steadfastness in the lead-up to the primary and consensus election.
He prayed that Dr. Soyoola would emerge as the Ogun Central Senatorial candidate.
In addition, Mrs. Adekanbi Kehinde while speaking on behalf of the Ward Exco, appreciated Dr. Soyoola and his team for their visit and engagement with the ward leadership.
