Residents of the Biket area in Osogbo are raising urgent concerns, calling on the Osun State Government, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Health to take immediate action and remove the lifeless body of a man found opposite Optima Hospital near Koju Foam.
According to eyewitnesses, emergency responders from O’Ambulance were contacted and arrived at the scene.
However, after confirming the individual was deceased, they declined to transport the body, stating that their mandate is limited to aiding the living.
As a result, the body has been left unattended in the area, causing distress among residents who fear potential health risks and environmental hazards.
