A man from Kano State whose name name was not revealed has reportedly divorced his wife due to her attendance at a meeting organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The man, reportedly held the APC accountable for Nigeria’s deepening economic crisis, particularly in the northern regions.
Report noted that the man after his wife came back from the meeting, told her to about the divorce.
Meanwhile, Nigerian have reacted to the issue on social media.
An X user,@Desmond5467612, wrote, “As weird as it might sound, supporting apc in this present Nigeria situation is barbaric, no justification whosoever,and any Nigerian who still supports this evil is a potential murderer. So she can poison him at any given time. Hence, it is enough ground for divorce. More news.”
