Different events has unfolded following the Impeachment of Ogun State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo at the early hour of Tuesday by his colleagues.
BEYOND AFRICA gathered that the Impeachment might be connected to the 2027 political game in the state.
Also, the medium learnt that members of the state House of Assembly had earlier accused the speaker of financial misappropriation.
He was said to have allegedly diverted money giving to the members of the house by the governor while their Quarters allowances were also not also released to the members.
BEYOND AFRICA reliably gathered that the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Adeola Yayi has promised Oluomo the ticket of the the Ogun Central Senatorial District against the incumbent, Senator, Shuaib Afolabi.
Yayi as gathered is also eyeing the governorship ticket of the state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2027.
His Impeachment came five days after the victory of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the duely elected Governor of Ogun State.
