Ogun Councillor Rolls Out Achievements In Three Years

….. As He Facilitates Borehole Projects, Solar Lights, Scholarship Programmes To Constituency 

The Councilor representing Ward 5, Oke-agbo, Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu North Local Government area of Ogun State, Hon. Badejo Banjo Oladele has rolled out his achievements in office in the last three years.

Oladele stressed that he has done his bit in putting smile to the face of his constituents through execution of essential projects from his own personal purse.

According to the young lawmaker, he bagged outstanding Councillor of the year 2022 due to some notable projects he facilitated.

 

Oladele disclosed this in an interview with BEYOND AFRICA on Wednesday.

Some of the notable projects facilitated by him include, a toilet facility and borehole project at Ita-ale, Oke-agbo, Scholarship for Secondary school students in Oke-agbo and welfare programs for the Windows and aged.

Other projects include, the completion of borehole project at Oke-alafia and
Solar lights to be installed to the six Quarters of Oke-agbo among other notable projects.

Profile:

Hon. Badejo Banjo Oladele, a native of Oke Agbo, Ijebu Igbo. He graduated from Ibadan Polytechnic in year 2006.

Banjo later proceeded to work at the Omed Nigeria limited @ Sango OTA in a very short period of time and also a gospel musician as well.

He joined politics in 1998, while he was elected as honour councilor Representing Oke Agbo, ward 5 in 2016 to 2019.

In year 2021, BJ as he’s popular called was re-elected to represent Oke Agbo, Ward 5 as legislative member.

As one of the competent legislative member, he was appointed as Chairman on Youth and Sport up till date.

In 2022, he was honoured as the OUTSTANDING COUNCILLOR of the year by the Ijebu North Youth Award due to some notable projects he facilitated.

Also in 2023, BJ was nominated again as the OUTSTANDING COUNCILLOR which he won for the second time.
