Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been remanded at a Correctional facility in Ilaro, Ogun State, following his failure to appear in court for an ongoing assault case.
BEYOND AFRICA gathered that the musician has been in custody since Thursday, April 24, 2025, after missing a scheduled hearing at the Magistrate Court in Ifo.
Portable, known for his legal troubles, has faced multiple charges, including assault and cyberbullying.
The medium learnt that his legal team is currently working to secure his release through a bail bond, which was earlier revoked by the Chief Magistrate due to repeated non-compliance with court summons.
