The Leader of the House, Yewa South Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseyi Adekanbi Ogun State is dead.
BEYOND AFRICA gathered that the Councilor died in the early hours of Saturday, May 3, 2025 after a brief illness.
The Ogun State Councillors’ Forum has mourned his sudden death.
According to the group, his untimely death comes as a great shock to them, especially as he was hale and hearty during their recent thank-you visit to the Governor’s Office on Monday.
The statement reads ” Hon. Olayinka was a passionate leader, a man of vision and integrity, whose contributions to legislative governance in Ogun State will be fondly remembered.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, the people of Yewa South, and the entire Ogun State political community. May God grant them the strength to bear this painful loss and may the soul of Hon. Oluwaseyi Olayinka rest in perfect peace”.
