Let’s Imbibe The Spirit Of Sacrifice, Aremo Adekunbi Urges Muslims

Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi has urged Muslims to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and be their brothers’ keeper in line with the unflinching principle of eid el kabir.

Adekunbi, who presided over the Ogun State House of Assembly,2011 to 2019, said this in a statement from his office to commemorate eid el kabir, urging Muslims to learn from selfless attribute of Prophet Ibrahim.

“Eid-ul-Adha is a festival of sacrifice,a powerful reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith, obedience, and submission to the will of Almighty Allah.It is a time for reflection, sacrifice and sincere devotion, values that remain as remain as relevant today as ever, Adekunbi said.

He enjoined Nigerians to eschew bitterness, discrimination, and strive as this critical juncture of our national development, he added.

Adekunbi pleaded with good people of the state and the country to continue to pray for the success of both Prince Dapo Abiodun’s and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’ administrations at this auspicious moment.
