The Councillorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in ward 15, Abeokuta South Local Government area of Ogun State, Yinka Adeleke has been reportedly shot dead by some unknown gunmen.
Adeleke, according to sources was assassinated around Oke-ilewo area of Abeokuta, the state capital, on Saturday
The lifeless body of the deceased was seeing lying down helplessly in a video circulating online in a pool of his own blood.
The local government elections is bid for November 16, 2024 according to the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission.
The circumstances surrounding his death is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
