A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress,  APC in Ogun State,  Hon. Wale Bello on Thursday launched a support group called  “Gbagura Intellectual” for Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi in Abeokuta North Local Government,  Ogun State.

The  group according to the convener was inaugurated in support of Yayi’s ambition to contest for the seat of a  Governor in Ogun State come 2027.

The APC Chieftain informed that the group is mainly for intellectuals and  not anyhow people.

The inauguration which took place at the former liaison officer to governor Abiodun’s residence in Olomore had in attendance five party members from  each ward in Gbagura area of the local government. The wards in Gbagura are 6, 7, 8 and 9.

The Convener of the group, Hon. Wale Bello in his speech submitted that the group was purposely launched to support and campaign for Senator Yayi ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

He added that each ward in Gbagura land will mobilise for 250 people to support the Senator’s ambition, adding that their target is 1000 people in the whole Gbagura.

Wale Bello maintained that they have decided to support the Senator because he has performed excellently well in Ogun State, adding that Yayi has not only touch lives of the people positively in Yewa only but Ogun State generally.
