The senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Adeola Yayi was reportedly barred from attending the Ojude-Oba Day 2025 in Ijebu-ode.
BEYOND AFRICA gathered that the senator was asked to stop from attending the Ojude Oba festival and was also removed as the Chairman.
According to a reliable source, he was allegedly asked to turn back at the Expressway by security agencies.
But observers have connected the development to the 2027 governorship election in the state. Yayi is said to be eyeing the governorship ticket to replace Governor Dapo Abiodun.
