Like many thousands of young graduates mobilised for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ service year, 27-year-old Araoye Micheal, an HND Business Administration and Management graduate of Osun State Polytechnic Iree had said his goodbye to his family members, having deployed to Akwa Ibom State to serve his fatherland.
After camping at Akwa Ibom, Micheal redeployed to Kwara state and posted to Ministry of works for his primary assignment, hoping to see his dreams fulfilled.
However, it was his corpse that was brought to his family by other corp members and some NYSC officials after he was said to have died in a ghastly motor accident that occurred on his way from CDS.
According to Agunbe descendants union (ADU) who releases the sad news on her handles said, the union received with shock the death of our brother Araoye Michael corps member in a ghastly accident that occur in Kwara state.
The deceased, Araoye Michael from Ikirun Ifelodun Local Government Osun State, was coming from his weekly Community Development Service (CDS) when the accident occurred.
The Union described the death of Araoye Michael as great loss not only to the bereaved family but also to entire Ikirun, NYSC and the rest of the nation.
He prayed that Almighty God to grant the deceased eternal rest, and give his loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss.
