Osun Distributes HIV Prevention Tools To Meet 2030 Deadline

The Osun State Government has intensified its efforts to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in order to meet the 2030 deadline to end the epidemic.

According to the Commissioner for Health, Bar Jola Akinola, the government is committed to controlling and managing HIV/AIDS in the state.

Akinola made this known during the distribution of HIV prevention tools to stakeholders by the Osun State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OSACA).

He emphasized that the government is taking bold steps to ensure that the state meets the deadline.

The distribution of HIV prevention tools is part of the effort to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in the state.

Akinola appealed to residents to get tested and seek treatment if necessary.

He also urged healthcare workers to use the equipment judiciously.

The Executive Secretary of OSACA, Olusegun Daramola, commended the governor for his commitment to providing quality care and services.

The Osun State Government is determined to make the state an HIV/AIDS-free zone by 2030.
