The Osun State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), under the leadership of Caretaker Chairman Comrade Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke on the successful commissioning of new equipment for the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC).
This significant development marks a milestone in enhancing the quality of broadcasting and information dissemination in the state.
The NYCN recognizes the critical role that modern equipment plays in the effective operation of media houses. By equipping OSBC with state-of-the-art technology, Governor Adeleke has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the standards of journalism and ensuring that the people of Osun State receive accurate and timely information.
In light of this commendable achievement, the NYCN also takes this opportunity to urge Governor Adeleke to expedite the implementation of the IMOLE Youth Corps. The IMOLE Youth Corps is an initiative designed to engage and empower the youth of Osun State through various developmental skills and payed community service. Its swift implementation will not only secure employment for the youth but will provide the youth with valuable skills and experiences but also contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the state.
Comrade Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi emphasized the importance of the IMOLE Youth Corps, stating, “The youth are the backbone of any society. By investing in their development, we are securing a brighter future for Osun State. We plead with Governor Adeleke to prioritize the launch of the IMOLE Youth Corps to harness the potential of our vibrant youth population, reduce unemployment and make life more easy for some of the youth.”
