12 years after playing a prominent role in the osun-Osogbo festival, the votary maid (Arugba Osun), Osuntomi Ewatomilola Omolara, is now married.
Before this year’s festival, rumour has swelled that this year’s would be the last that would be performing the duty as the votary maid.
Those rumours have been laid to rest as pictures of the former votary maid alongside her husband were posted on social media.
The former votary maid (Arugba) performed the duty for 12 years.
She was a Junior Secondary school student when she first carried the sacred calabash.
Meanwhile, Netizens congratulated the new couple after their photos were shared online.
