A self-styled Ghanaian prophet, Ebo Noah, who predicted a global catastrophe that failed to occur has urged his followers to relax and “enjoy themselves,” declaring that the doom had been postponed.

Ebo Noah had earlier predicted that God would unleash a catastrophic flood on December 25, 2025.

The prophet, frequently seen in public wearing tattered, old-style robes, shared multiple videos across his social media platforms, urging people to prepare for what he described as the end of the world.

His warnings gained traction on social media and led to widespread discussion in Ghana and other West African countries.

In one of the videos posted on his Tiktok page with 77.1k followers, the self-styled prophet claimed that God had instructed him to build arks to save those willing to repent from their sins.

Speaking on the Behind The Lens podcast with Queen Liz, Ebo Noah said the message first came to him in a dream in 2023, which he claimed was given by God as a warning about impending destruction.

He added that the vision did not stop there, returning again and again over the years and persisting through 2025.

“I’m building an ark, if you have faith come. It is free; we are not taking money from anybody. When you come and he does not rain, my friend, go home.

“I have fasted for three weeks, I have prayed, I have told you to repent. I have interceded for Ghana and the whole world. Whatever happens is the decision of God,” Ebo Noah said.

Standing beside one of the boats, Ebo Noah said he had already built six arks in preparation for a catastrophic flood.

He claimed to have bought 250,000 woods for the construction of four of the arks.

On December 24, he disclosed that the arks were already about 80 per cent completed, insisting they would serve as the only place of refuge when the disaster struck.

But when nothing happened on Christmas Day, Ebo Noah said the predicted disaster had been postponed because his prayers persuaded God to delay it and give more people time to prepare, including building additional arks.

Videos showing hundreds of people carrying luggage and heading toward a site believed to be the location of the arks have surfaced online, though it could not independently verify the authenticity of the clips.

Ebo Noah announced the postponement of the rapture in a video posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

“God revealed to me that he has redeemed us. I have prayed, I have fasted, I have donated and I have built, and through my prayers I got another vision and in the vision, when you look at the number of people coming all over the world into the ark, the expansion of the ark could not contain. So, I shared my vision to some great men of God who also interceded with me.

“After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks in addition to the 10 that will contain all of us. So, tomorrow, nobody should rush to any location. I’m not selling tickets, I’m not taking money from anyone. Please, stay at home, enjoy yourselves, have fun and also I’m wishing all of you Merry Christmas and a happy New Year,” he said.

In a surprising turn, the self-styled prophet appeared on stage during the ‘Rapperholic 2025’ concert of Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie.

Viral videos from the event showed Ebo Noah being warmly received and cheered by thousands of concertgoers.

Ebo Noah who spoke in Twi language, urged the people to enjoy themselves and party.

“God has granted me more time to build additional arks. No need to rush anywhere tomorrow—stay home, enjoy, repent, and be saved. The floods and end are postponed due to prayers, so let’s party,” he said.

His remarks sparked a fresh debate about the credibility of his earlier prophecy, with several social media users taking to X to criticise him and calling for his arrest.

An X user, Akinwale_cfi described Ebo has a content creator.

Another user, isaacessien77 said, “What is he doing there? Isn’t he supposed to be in the ark by now?”

“But what did he come there to do? Ghana, this person is supposed to be in jail but just look at where he is,” @ng_digitals said.

“The disrespect to Christianity. How will anyone believe the Bible and its teachings again,” @jiaggeEmmanuel wrote.
