…. As Party Members Allege Subterranean Plot

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State may face crisis over the choice of who becomes the Leader of the House in Legislative arm of the council.

Based on the current permutation, BEYOND AFRICA gathered that it’s the turn of Oke-ogun community to produce the leader of the house and Secretary of Local Government (SLG) to Gbagura.

This according to findings is after the incumbent Council chairman emerged from Oke-ona and his Vice from Owu Community respectively.

But BEYOND AFRICA reliably gathered that there is an allege subterranean plot by some party hierarchy to push the position of the leader of the House from Oke-ogun, a development that may cause disaffection within the party.

According to some of the APC members, who spoke with the medium under the condition of Anonymity, the plan by the party leader to shift the post from Oke-ogun  should be aborted, adding that it may caused crisis and disunity in the party.

“We want the party leadership to do what is right. We have the Chairman and his Vice from Oke-ona and Owu already. Also, the SLG has been penned down to Gbagura. It only Oke-ogun left for leader of the house,” the party members asserted.
