2027: Dr. Soyoola Reaffirms Commitment To Ogun Central Senatorial Race

Ogun Central Senatorial aspirant, Dr Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the race, declaring that he has not stepped down and remains fully prepared for the party primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement made available to journalists on Sunday, Soyoola dismissed rumours suggesting he had withdrawn from the contest, describing the claims as false and misleading.

He stressed that his aspiration remains intact and driven by a desire to serve the people of Ogun Central with dedication and integrity.

“I want to make it clear that I have never stepped down from the senatorial race. My commitment to this journey remains strong and unshaken,I am fully in the race and ready for the primaries.”

The aspirant noted that his political engagement across the senatorial district has continued without interruption, adding that he has been consulting widely with stakeholders, party leaders and grassroots supporters.

“I have continued to engage with our people across the district because this aspiration is about service and development. The encouragement from stakeholders and supporters has been overwhelming,” Soyoola stated.

He also emphasised his readiness to participate in a free and fair primary election, expressing confidence in the democratic process of his party.

He called on party members to remain united and focused as preparations for the primaries gather momentum.
