Former Ogun Central Senatorial Aspirant, Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola (EOS), has extended warm felicitations to Muslim brothers and sisters in Ogun State and Nigeria on the occasion 2026 Eid-ul Adha festival.

Dr. Soyoola in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Tuesday, described Eid-ul Adha as one of Islam’s most sacred festivals, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) unwavering faith, obedience, and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of Allah.

The medical doctor noted that the celebration offers an important reminder of the virtues of selflessness, patience, and service to humanity.

“Eid-ul Adha teaches us that true progress comes through sacrifice and commitment to the common good. As we mark this holy occasion, I encourage all Muslims to reflect on these values and to use them as a guide in our daily lives and in our collective effort to build a stronger, more united Ogun State and Nigeria,” Dr. Soyoola stated.

He called on the Muslim Ummah to use the period to deepen acts of charity, reach out to the less privileged, and promote peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths and backgrounds. According to him, the spirit of Eid should inspire citizens to set aside differences and work together for the peace, security, and development of the state.

“May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers, forgive our shortcomings, and grant our state and nation enduring peace, unity, and prosperity,” he said.

He expressed optimism that with unity and shared purpose, Ogun State will continue to set the pace for growth and development in Nigeria.
