Residents of Iteku village, near Igesa in Ado Odo/Ota Local of Ogun State have appealed to Governor Dapo Abiodun to construct a a bridge to connect the community to Ishashi town in Lagos State.
According to the community, the bridge when constructed will not only reduce the travel distance through Agbara to connect Ogun State but to other towns including Otta.
The construction will also increase the Revenue generation of the state.
Speaking with BEYOND AFRICA on Thursday, a landlord in the area, Mr. Kure Nyizogembi James said if the bridge is constructed, it would lessened trip from Ogun to Lagos.
He stresses that the distance from Iteku and Isashi is about 3 minutes on boat while calling on the state government forna swrift
