The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council, Osun Axis) on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 held her convention to elect new leadership of the Association.
The convention was held at the NUJ Hall, Osogbo, the state capital.
The convention produced Comrade Ayobami Abel, a. k. a AY Aluta from Osun State Polytechnic Iree as the NANS JCC Chairman for the next dispensation.
The students body thanked Governor Ademola Adeleke for providing an enabling environment for the conduct of the election and for his commitment to the development of education in the state.
They however pledged their continuous support for the Adeleke administration while making the welfare of students their top priority.
Other officers elected include:
1. Comrade Adegoke Oluwapelumi from Federal Polytechnic, Ede, as Vice Chairman
2. Comrade Adebola Jamiu from Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke, General Secretary.
3. Comrade Alabi Ibrahim from Osun College of Education Ila, PRO.
4. Comrade Alemu Daniel from College of Health Technology, Ilesa, Assistant Secretary.
5. Comrade Ominiyi Christopher from Osun State University, as Director of Sport.
