The founder of Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat has reportedly collapsed over the funfair stampede that resulted in the death of several children.
BEYOND AFRICA reliably gathered that Hamzat is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Ibadan
It was learnt that the broadcaster slumped and became unconscious after the incident.
About 35 children have been confirmed dead following the incident, which occurred at Islamic High School, Bashorun, Ibadan on Wednesday.
Hamzatâs radio station was used to promote the funfair party.
The Nigerian Police Force, NPF in oyo state disclosed that seven suspects including the former wife of Ooni Of Ife, Prophetess Naomi have been arrested over the incident.
