Fatai Adesegun Donates Food Items, N12m Cash Gift To Kinsmen

One of Senator Yayi’s lieutenant in Ijebu North Local Government area of Ogun East, and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Prince Fatai Adesegun, today hosted an end of year meeting of political leaders, party faithful across the 11 wards, alongside their executives, community leaders, religious from both Christian Associations of Nigeria, CAN and Muslim community, CDAs and amongst others.

The meeting held under the auspices of OGUN EAST ASSEMBLY, Ijebu North.

Ogun East Assembly is a mobilization platform assembled for the 2027 gubernatorial aspiration of Senator Yayi.

At the meeting which took place at the famous Omo Ilu ground in Ijebu Igbo, party leaders like former Deputy Governor, Prince Segun Adesegun, former members of House of Representatives Hon Dr. Samuel Babatunde Adejare, Hon. Abudu Abiodun Balogun, Hon. Deko Onamusi, and former Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Water, Hon. Kunle Otun Kope, and many other chieftains all commended the efforts of Prince Adesegun in strengthening the unity and cooperation amongst members of the party and they unanimously appreciated his gestures of food distributions and cash donation to support the party, the people and the community at large.

Of note, 200 bags of rice, 300 cartons of noodles, and cash gift of N12m was shared amongst various groups, wards and associations.

In his very short goodwill message, Prince Fatai Adesegun emphasised that his little gesture is to rally support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, further consolidate the successful completion of Prince Dapo Abiodun CON as the Governor of Ogun State, and particularly aggregate support for the governorship aspiration of his principal, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola CON for the forthcoming 2027 elections.

Adesegun thanked Senator Yayi for making himself a servant leader empowering young people, and building lasting legacies of development across the state. He also urged his people to continue to stand by and support Senator Yayi, and he assured that with Senator Yayi, greater progress is achievable for Ogun state.

Amongst other groups that attended the meeting and got a fraction of the largesse include, Christian Association Nigeria Ijebu North, Muslim community led by Chief Imam Ago Iwoye, Market Men & Women, Baales and Olorituns, Igbo and Hausa Community, Youth and Women groups, Farmers and Artisans and Special Persons, amongst others.
