The speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa has revealed that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has endorsed the governorships ambition of the current deputy governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat.
Mudashiru Obasa while speaking at a stakeholders meeting of the members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) disclosed that he just arrived from Abuja where he met president Bola Ahmed Tinubu who informed him of his decision to endorse the Lagos State deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat for the 2027 governorship.
Obasa enjoined the stakeholders to accept the president’s decision, describing him as a father whose choice should be accepted wholeheartedly.
“I just returned from Abuja and the conversation remains the same — Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is the next governor of Lagos state,” Obasa stated
