The Irewolede ACDC Youth in Community, Gbagura, today commenced its 5th Annual Program with a Free Medical Check-Up for residents of Irewolede and neighboring communities.
The week-long program, which runs from Monday, 24th August to Saturday, 29th August, 2026, is aimed at promoting health, youth development, education, environmental awareness, and community unity.
Speaking to the newsmen, the Youth in Community Secretary, Comrade Abiodun kehinde said the decision to start with a health outreach reflects the organization’s commitment to the wellbeing of the people. Beneficiaries received free checks on blood pressure, blood sugar, and general health counseling by medical professionals.
According to him: “We are starting this year’s program with health because a healthy community is a strong community. Our following program will engage our children through a talent hunt, promote sportsmanship, clean our environment, and round up with the dedication of our Patron and Matron at the grand finale.”
