Social media personality and TikToker, Amodu Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has appealed to the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, for forgiveness following the controversy involving her partner, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja (Peller).
Jarvis appealed during a live session shared on social media, where she expressed regret over the incident linked to an unauthorised visit to the Benin Royal Palace.
The development comes after the Benin Traditional Council (BTC) summoned Peller over the March 6, 2026, incident, which it described as a violation of palace protocol.
In the emotional video, Jarvis pleaded with the monarch to show mercy, stressing that the situation could affect her future marriage plans.
“I don’t want to be single to stupor… please forgive him. I want to get married; I want my bride price paid without fear. Please have mercy on us,” she said.
The council had earlier taken disciplinary action within the palace, including suspending a chief and imposing sanctions on members of the royal household.
