The Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff II to the National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) wishes to commend the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, and the Osun State Government for the release of the first batch of successful applicants in the ongoing teachers’ recruitment exercise into public primary and secondary schools across the state.
This development represents a commendable step towards strengthening the education sector, addressing unemployment among qualified graduates, and improving the quality of teaching and learning within public schools in Osun State. The initiative clearly demonstrates the commitment of the present administration to reposition education as a critical pillar for sustainable development and youth advancement.
While congratulating the successful applicants, NANS also encourages them to approach this opportunity with dedication, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility towards shaping the future of the younger generation through quality education.
Furthermore, we respectfully encourage the Osun State Government to sustain and expand such initiatives by creating more opportunities for employment, youth empowerment, and skills development programmes that will benefit students, graduates, and young people across the state. Continued investment in employment and empowerment will go a long way in strengthening economic stability and improving the overall welfare of citizens.
NANS therefore urges the state government to do more in advancing policies and programmes that support the growth, productivity, and empowerment of youths and students, as they remain a vital force in the development and future of Osun State.
The students’ community appreciates this effort and looks forward to more impactful interventions from the administration in the interest of education, youth development, and the progress of the state.
