
Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency, Prince Adeyanju Bamidele Joseph, has visited the Ogun State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande Omoniyi, to deliberate on political developments and the way forward ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The visit was centered on strengthening party structures across Ogun West and addressing key issues to move Yewa North, Imeko Afon, and Ketu forward.
Adeyanju emphasized unity, grassroots mobilization, and sustained engagement with the people as key steps toward consolidating APC’s position in the zone ahead of 2027.
The engagement provided a platform for wide-ranging discussions on the political landscape of Ogun State, grassroots mobilization, and strategies for strengthening stakeholder alignment ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on the outcome of the meeting, Prince Adeyanju Bamidele Joseph noted that consistent dialogue with stakeholders and party leaders remains critical to building a cohesive political structure that reflects the priorities and aspirations of the people. He emphasized the need for early and deliberate coordination to support sustainable development and responsive governance in Ogun State.
He commended Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Akande Omoniyi for his role in advancing the state’s housing agenda and for receiving the team. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, stability and working together for the progress of the APC and across Ogun State.
Present at the meeting are: Hon. Haruna Egungboun, Member Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ketu State constituency, Yewa North Local Government and Chief Akintunde Akinola.
The visit forms part of ongoing consultations by APC leaders in Ogun West and beyond, aimed at fostering inclusive political engagement and positioning the party to meet the expectations of the electorate in the coming electoral cycle.
