Ogun 2027: Prince Adeyanju Formally Joins APC, Affirms Commitment To Party Ideology

In a major boost for the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Adeyanju Bamidele Joseph, on Friday, 10th of July, 2026 formally declared for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)and was integrated into the party at the ward level in Eggua Ward, Yewa North Local Government, Ogun State.

The event witnessed a large turnout of party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters who came out to welcome Prince Adeyanju and his supporters into the APC family.

Receiving him into the party is Yewa North Local Government party Chairman, Chief Adeosun popularly known as Gabadin. Adeosun described the move as a testament to the growing acceptance of APC and the leadership of the party in Ogun State.

He urged Prince Adeyanju and his followers to work for the unity, growth, and electoral success of the party.

Addressing the gathering, Baba Major Olubi Emmanuel, Elder Leader Yewa North and Elders council chairman ketu state constituency described Prince Adeyanju’s defection as a significant addition to the party, noting that his capacity, experience, and followership will further strengthen APC in the ward and LGA.

He charged him to work closely with party leaders to ensure unity and victory for the party in future elections.

Prince Adeyanju Bamidele Joseph expressed appreciation for the warm reception. He reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of APC and pledged to mobilize his team and resources towards strengthening the party at the ward, LGA, and state levels.

He also assured members of inclusive leadership and service to the people.

“My decision to join APC is driven the party’s commitment to good governance, development, and the welfare of the people,” Adeyanju stated.

Ogun State House of Assembly member representing ketu state constituency Hon. Haruna Egungbohun, Hon Razak Oduntan, Hon. Tunde Bankole, Hon. Sogo Akinde, Hon. Lere Ijidele Governor Liason Officer and others present at the program.

The program featured goodwill messages, presentation of APC membership card, and solidarity songs. The atmosphere was peaceful and filled with optimism as APC continues to wax stronger in Yewa North Local Government and across Ogun State.
