The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State on Information Technology, Hon. Akeem Oluseye, has explained why Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress must remain focused ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to Oluseye, the party remains the favourite to win the state based on the credibility of its governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi.
However, he advised members of the party not to rely only on the popularity of Senator Yayi but must continue to mobilize for the party.
He stated this while addressing his supporters in Abeokuta recently.
“We are fortunate in Ogun State to have Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi as our governorship candidate. But we, as party faithfuls, must continue to work hard to ensure his victory come 2027. Don’t let’s only rely on the popularity of our candidate. We have a lot of work to do,” he stated.
