Osun Rep, Wole Oke Pays School Fees For Students In Govt Technical Colleges

A member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Mr Oluwole Oke, has paid the school fees of students across all the nine State Government Technical Colleges in Osun State.

Oke in a statement by his Senior Media Aide, Media and Public Communication Unit, Segun Omolebi-Sunday also sponsored the full examination fees for final year students of Government Technical College, Ijeda/Ijesa, ensuring that they are able to complete their studies and obtain their professional certification without financial constraints.

According the statement, the examination sponsorship for the graduating students covers key technical and vocational assessments, including: “National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)

“Diploma Examinations

“Trade Test Certifications”

The intervention is expected to benefit over a thousand students enrolled in government technical colleges across the state, reinforcing the importance of technical and vocational education as a pathway to employment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

Hon. Oke noted that technical education plays a vital role in national development by equipping young people with practical skills needed for self-reliance and productivity. He encouraged the beneficiaries to remain diligent, disciplined, and committed to their studies so they can contribute meaningfully to society upon completion of their training.

Management, staff, and students of the various Government Technical Colleges in Osun State have expressed profound appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that alleviates financial pressure on students while strengthening confidence in technical education.

Hon. Oke reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote education, skills acquisition, and youth development both within Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency and across Osun State.
