A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State and who hails from Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Wale Bello has urged all residents of the local government to support the second term ambition of the current house of assembly member, Hon. Dr.  Babatunde Tella in 2027.

Abiodun’s GLO who made this known in an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday said no one is fit to contest against Tella.

Wale Bello who debunked the rumour of having the interest of contesting the same position in 2027 said he can not contest against a great performer who is one of the best at the State House of Assembly.

The APC Chieftain submitted that Tella should be begged to re-contest instead of  working against his second term ambition.

He added that the ex caretaker chairman has performed beyond the expectations of the people of Abeokuta North and his landmark achievements speaks for him all times.

“No i have no plans of contesting for the seat of house of assembly in Abeokuta North State Constituency, why do i have to contest when we have somebody who is capable, who is on ground and who has performed beyond the expectations of the people, we all can see what he has done and he has made us proud in Abeokuta North. He is doing well and we all know that he is one of the best lawmakers in which the Speaker has testified. We should reward him buy contribute money for him to run again because he deserves the ticket again. I can never work against him. He is a great performer”  If performance is the measurement for the return of the lawmakers, Dr Tella would be the first person to be considered for automatic legislative ticket among his colleagues in the House, when we talk about passage of the bills, moving of the motions, lets give it to him. He was the first person to do empowerment in Abeokuta North among elected officials.

” I appeal to the APC members in the local government and the party hierarchy to support Hon. Tella”
