…. Says People Who Matter Most Should Be Selected

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ogun State, Hon. Akeem Oluseye has commended President Bola Tinubu on the plan to organised a National Youth Conference.

President Tinubu had on Monday during his National broadcast in commemoration of Nigeria 64th year Independence anniversary announced the readiness of his government to organise the conference which will last for 30 days.

According to Tinubu, the conference will be a platform to address the diverse challenges and opportunities confronting the young ones.

The president said it will also provide meaningful dialogue and empower young people to participate actively in nation-building.

Oluseye in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, on Tuesday, commended the FG, saying the conference will ensure that the voice of the youths are heard and will also shape the policies that will impact their Iives.

He urged those who will be in charge of the conference to painstakingly select those who matter most in the society for the success of the program.

Oluseye served as a member of the Tinubu/Shettima Support Group in the South-west during the last general elections. He also contested the Abeokuta North Local Government Chairmanship ticket ahead of the November 16 elections in Ogun State.

He came second with 22 votes during the primary election.
