NNM Urges Fadahunsi to Extend Empowerment to Osun Youths, Students

The New Nigeria Mandate (NNM), Osun State Chapter, has commended Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi for facilitating the distribution of six electricity transformers to communities across Osun East Senatorial District.

The organisation said the intervention, facilitated by Francis Tomiwa Fadahunsi, convener of the Tommy Fadahunsi Foundation (TFF), was aimed at improving electricity supply and the living conditions of residents in the benefiting communities.

In a press statement signed by its state president, Comrade Oluwole Olutunde Aboke, the NNM said the transformers were intended for communities in Ilesa, Ilare, Ipetu-Ijesha, Isale General in Ilesa and Modakeke.

The organisation described the initiative as part of the foundation’s empowerment agenda, expressing optimism about plans for additional development projects in the coming months.

It, however, urged the foundation and other stakeholders to ensure that the transformers were properly installed, connected to the electricity network and maintained to guarantee sustainable benefits for the residents.

The NNM also called on Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District in the Senate, to extend his support to youths and students through employment opportunities, empowerment programmes and social development initiatives.

According to the organisation, such interventions would help secure a better future for younger generations.

The group further encouraged the senator to sustain his engagement with constituents and support development initiatives across the district.

It also urged residents of Ife-Ijesa and the wider Osun East Senatorial District to remain actively involved in civic affairs and assess public officeholders based on their records and commitments.

The organisation called on residents to participate peacefully in the 2027 general elections, while commending stakeholders contributing to infrastructure development and improved living conditions across the state.
