Lifeless body of a secondary school boy, named Taiwo, killed by a stray bullet was on Tuesday brought to the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Angry protesters led by father of the decease were demanding for instant justice for the boy who was allegedly killed by police officer while trying to apprehend a traffic offender
According to an eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around Alakia area of ibadan, Egbeda LGA, while a police officer attached to OYRTMA personnel, attempted to shoot at the tyre of the offender believed to be a yahoo boy.
The bullet rather hit the boy who seated at the back of the car with his brother while their father was drivng them to school.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, named Welfare Hospital, they were however referred him to the UCH, where he was confirmed dead.
Addressing the protesters, who stormed the state Secretariat in numbers, Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, on security, CP Sunday Odukoya, assured the father of the decease that the state government would ensure that justice is delivered on the incident.
