Abeokuta South Leaders Unite, Strategise For 2027 General Elections

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State on Friday held a stakeholders meeting in preparation of the upcoming 2027 general elections.

The meeting which held at the party Secretariat, Oke-Ejigbo, Abeokuta had in attendance party leaders which include  the APC Senatorial Chairman, Chief Sunday Sowunmi, a House of Representatives member, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, the Council Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez, the Commissioner for Rural and Development, Hon. Olufemi Ilori, former house of representatives, Hon. Segun Williams, the Alawo Erin of Egbaland, Chief Nurudeen Olaleye, Hon. Akeem Odejimi, former council chairman, Hon. Majekodun, the Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Nurudeen Ayorinde, the Federal Commissioner, Hon. Akeem Amosun, Hon. Remilekun Bakare, Chief Adeniyi Edun, popularly known as Oniro, the two house of assembly candidates, Hon. Ademuyiwa Adeyemi and Hon. Lukman Atobatele, Rt Hon. Titi Oseni, the Assistant State Youth leader, Mr Sabiru Adefolu, the two House of Representatives aspirants, Hon. Sheriff Adeola Olabode and Hon. Tolulope Phillips, a a House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Joshua Showunmi and other party leaders present.

Presiding over the meeting, the LG party  Chairman, Hon. Henry Fagbenro, popularly known as Agbomola deliberated with the stakeholders on strategies aimed at repositioning and strengthening the party in readiness for the forthcoming general elections.

He also discussed on working together in ensuring the the governorship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi and all APC candidates win at the polls.

Agbomola also called for unity, peace and harmony among the leaders, the candidates and the aspirants, saying that without unity, it will be difficult for them to deliver the APC candidates in 2027.

The party Chairman added that he will not be recognizing any groups or factions in the local government.

Agbomola appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun for his support and love for Abeokuta South Local Government, saying that the local government has witnessed notable growth under Abiodun.

He also commended the APC governorship candidate, Senator Yayi for his developmental strides in Abeokuta South, saying that the APC candidate still remembers the local government despite representing Ogun West Senatorial District.

 

 

 

The leaders during the meeting agreed to work together in unity in achieving landslide victory for all APC candidates in the State.

Hon. Bayo Adenekan, Hon. Bukola Olopade, popularly known Ozogular and Dr. Majekodunnmi , Hon. Ayomide Somide, Dr Ololade Kehinde and Farouk Akintunde tendered apology for not attending the meeting. They said it was due to some engagements.
